Gratitude journaling

Say what you're grateful for in the moment it occurs to you, instead of staring at a blank page trying to remember at bedtime.

  • Capture a grateful thought the second you notice it
  • Search back through everything you've been thankful for
  • A daily or weekly summary reads back like a running gratitude log
A memo history filtered to #gratitude, a running log of things worth being thankful for

how to do it

Gratitude practices ask you to remember good moments at the end of the day, when most of them have already faded. Catching them as they happen is easier and more honest.

  1. Say or text the moment when you notice it: "the barista remembered my order".
  2. Tag it #gratitude so the log stays in one place.
  3. Read it back in your daily or weekly summary email.
  4. Search the tag on a bad day to scroll back through what's gone right.
